That's a real bummer. I grew up watching that guy. He was good at what he did. He was a great example to show that you could have compassion and teach others without pushing your personal beliefs.

I just watched last five minutes of his show a couple of days ago. I absolutely adored his show when I was a kid, and as an adult I still appreciated its genuine warmth and its loving message. Just seeing that episode touched me. It felt good knowing he was still out there.

He'll be missed.

I remember growing up watching Mr. Rogers. Now my son, who is 5, also really enjoyed watching Mr. Rogers.

Thanks for the memories.

Exactly. He obviously had very religious feelings and beliefs, yet he never pushed them on kids that looked up to him and watched the show. He really did practice what he preached, and taught kids to be good to one another, and to be something positive. That to me, is a great message regardless of religion and other things.
