i made a mistake which i have admitted several times, but i have no problem saying it again. i should not have said atheism, i should have said naturalism. and further i probably should have started the post in the philosophy part of this forum. i humbly and sincerely apologize. just to be clear, going forward, i am interested in talking about naturalism only. if my mistake is beyond repair, maybe i will start this thread over in the philosophy forum with the correct terms clearly stated.

Thomaq, my suggestion would be to start a new thread, in either Philosophy or Science&Skepticism, and let me just lock this one. In fact, I will lock this one now; if you, or anyone else, wishes to continue the present discussion (which I feel is thoroughly muddled at this point, because the title is incorrectly stated) feel free to send me a PM and I will re-open it.
