Don't miss this link on Howard Dean's site: http://www.deanforamerica.com/standup.cfm
What he did is the least anyone should do, but it's a novelty in America, ya know...

I got one that says "Peace Is Patriotic" but I didn't put it on. I've wanted to find out more of the history behind it. Is this some kind of old 60s thing?

Talking

Does anyone think Dean has a chance? I think he kicks ass, but I have doubts about a governor from a tiny state like VT in an already crowded Dem field who is such a good person that he does things that alienate a whole lot of people (civil unions). He sounds awesome, though.

Hedwig- your car actually got keyed for your bumper sticker?

I just read more of the thread. I am sorry, CG, but you have fallen from your high place. You cannot be my god.

Back to atheism...

An evolve fishy static cling

a Happy Humanist

"Born OK the First Time"

"Dare to Think for Yourself"

and my personal fave...
"I BELIEVE IN LIFE BEFORE DEATH"

Yes, I do live in the middle-of-nowhere, Mississippi. I've had them since last August. To date, I've only had one verbal comment from someone in Mississippi and that was positive: "I like your stickers!" When I had my car worked on in Florida, the mechanic said, "Oh! You're the one with the cool bumper stickers! I'm gonna tell my buddies about that 'I believe in life before death' one tonight. That's hilarious!" Those are the ONLY responses I've received thus-far. And trust me, there are almost more churches than people where I live. Just ask clark. At first I was worried about having them on, but I don't even think about it anymore. So try it if you're unsure about how freethought stickers would be received in your area. Your neighbors just might surprise you!

Arrow

While stationed in SC, my car had two Darwin fish: one sticker (b&w), and one of the shiny metallic ones! Also, I've told the story before about my co-worker down there who was making feet out of magnetic tape to put on the Jebus fish on other cars!

I don't have anything right now, but I do like the "... moment of SCIENCE" one!

PS. Ensign Steve, BigBlue2 has the correct link for the Dean that was mentioned in this thread. He sounds reasonable to me too!

Northern Sun and EvolveFish are great resources for this sort of thing!

Just googled him, seems like a pretty sensable guy!
I'm not a bumper sticker person (and was proud of it too) BUT I had to put on a Dean for President, yeah, even in the heart of mormonia. dirkduck, you do know about the meetups, right? If not, go to meetup.com and type in Howard Dean.

I have the evolution fish that is er, humping the christian fish. I just put it on there today. Now if I can just fix the front end of my truck, it would look perfect...
