Consciousness and energy are still brain and nervous system, though.
Thats my point, they don't know if conciousness is physical or not. But it is connected as you allude to. Although, admittedly, the bit more that is energy is the physical body converting fuel. Yes, the power of transformation, amazing isn't it? DD - Love Spliff |

The word 'God' is meaningless and superfluous until you or someone equally vague and assertive assign it some characteristics...then I, or someone equally rational and skeptical can dissect it for the nonsense that it is. Quote:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We don't know that, but we each believe as we do, agreed? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not a chance. The word 'God' is meaningless and superfluous until you or someone equally vague and assertive assign it some characteristics...then I, or someone equally rational and skeptical can dissect it for the nonsense that it is. So if I believe God Is, that is in and of itself not enough for me?! I say: God is You ask: What Is God I say God Is. You say: God is not. We each believe, neither of us can come with a conclusive evidence to confirm or affirm God's existance. Agreed? I happen to be thoroughly pleased with the electrons pulsing through my brain and suggest you make better use of yours. Oh, but I am, you feed me many wonderful secrets of Life quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Others support this theory, I disagree of course we are that and a bit more. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I await your evidence. Come with conclusive evidence that conciousness is only physical. I say that it is more than just physical, but I can't prove it to you, and I see science can't prove the other either. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You" don't experience anything, the brain experiences, see the difference? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No...I find that it is just easier to say 'I' rather than 'Brain' everytime Ronin Brain writes a response to Darth Brain. You find it easier, so you agree with me? We are just two biological robots, running through our individual programming, and for sake of practicality, I call you Ronin and you call me Darth Dane. quote: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Then you are the universe, you experience the entire universe, and then you say you are that experience?! Quite bold assertion, I might add. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One that only you assert, you may notice. How else shall I understand this sentence: DD: Are you your experience? Ronin: Yes. Please explain then what you mean, when you say you are your experience, yet you say you are not the rock which is your experience when you look at it. I'm confuddled quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOL, and you are your experience of the entire universe, which supports my idea of everything happening in the Mind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quite a bold assertion, I might add...everything you say, are you sure?! Yes, pretty sure ...still no gods laying about...you see any? Yes, I see them everyday, well at least according to the bible. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You also experience other people, and so you must be the other people you meet. "Love thy neighbor as you would Love yourself" ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The zen version you might want to check out rings better with your pantheist heavy ideology ~ "Love thy neighbor as you would love yourself, for you are your neighbor". Nice one... Feel free to hang on to that one, I won't be needing it...I know how to be good and to love and to help when I can. Yes, I agree, we don't need any "God" from the outside to tell us how to behave, we are quite capable doing this ourselves. Again, no gods necessary. Never said they were. DD - Love Spliff |

You can believe a can of spam is a God and that It created the universe. I simply examine your claims, which are not unique by any stretch, find them lacking...and refute them. Quote:
To say God is...is utterly meaningless. The universe is...and observable at that...what would calling it God add to the equation? Quote:

You are the one making the alternate assertion, so the burden is on you to provide proof. I still await. Quote:
What is this bias you have against robots, anyhow? Quote:
