Honest question: Is there any atheist here who will deny that absolutely?

Not me. We're all human, and we're all of an age where we could make such a philosophical determination (I don't think that newborns are technically "atheists"), as obviously trivial examples. I also think atheists tend to be at least slightly better educated than the general population, and thus at least slightly better off financially. Atheists as a group perhaps tend to be slightly more skeptical than the general population, so asking questions about other "weird" areas of belief may help in narrowing down the field. Atheists also as a group tend to accept evolution over other "theories" for the origin of life on earth (though that's not a requirement). There may be other characteristics that atheists tend to share to a greater degree than is found in the general population. For example, despite xian's protests, my guess would be atheists as a group tend, more so than the general population, not to go to church too often and to spend their sunday mornings doing something besides going to church.

But as far as world view goes, all the group classified as "atheists" have 100% in common is lack of belief in god(s).

naa....my specialty is identifying and classifying atheists. easy to do for me. and they don't even need to tell me they lack belief in god(s). I still can nail them down with a success rate far greater than that of the % of atheists in this country.

Why are you ignoring me, xian?

Are you gonna bark all day, little doggie? Or are you gonna bite?

Sincerely,

Goliath

I believe this post calls for a DNFTT.

Or a DNSITBS (Do Not Step In The Bull Shit). And me without my boots!

*chuckle*

Proud to be ignorant. Well, I certainly won't usurp your parents right to educate you in why stereotyping is a...well, for lack of a better term, stupid idea.

Of course, I doubt the other posters here will be so kind. I'm almost giddy with anticipation.

Whats remarkable is that you are trumpeting this totally unproven and useless claim of yours as a supernatural power.

And if you DO finally get around to proving your assertion to us,what then?
What do you do once you've magically uncovered the atheists?

Whoopee freaking doo.

I still want to know on what basis you generalize so adamantly about athiests claiming nothing else in common. That is kind of central to your whole thread, isn't it?

I think I speak for most here when I say: I don't care, you're an idiot.
