Anyhoo......

How many of these 4 or 5 billion people still believe the flood happened or that Moses received stone tablets up on the mountain? Many of these 4 or 5 billion people don't even still believe Jesus performed the miracles attributed to him the gospels.

It's just a matter of time.
There is plenty of evidence for Jesus of Nazareth, it just isn't good enough for you because of who He is. There is more references to Jesus in the world, than there are to any other figure in history. He isn't the most famous human to ever exist for nothing.

Whether they believe His divinity or not is irrelevant. We aren't discussing that now are we? The large majority of the world, including most archaeologists and historians agree Jesus of Nazareth in fact existed, walked the Earth, and was executed by crucifiction.

"Who he is" plays much more of a role in how you see the evidence than I.
I don't need him to be real like you do so it matters not to me if he existed or not. (Unless you include that little deal I made with Satan )
It's not at all important to me and I'm free to evaluate the evidence as it is without my hopes and desires getting in the way.

But if you would like to drag out those tired old arguments again, perhaps you'd like to return to this thread and finish what you started.

I'd prefer to watch paint dry than go through all this with you,but I'm sure those guys back in the thread you ran away from would like to see you again.

He isn't the most famous human to ever exist for nothing.

This is true. He is the most famous human to never exist for something.

I had a thread a while ago about Jesus' DNA. Some of the problems that came up (assuming he was truly son of God)

Karyotype: How many chromosomes did he have? Was he haploid?

Parthenogenesis: If he was made from Mary's DNA only, was he in fact female? (Thanks abe)

If he had a "normal" karyoptye, where did the male gamete come from? Did God make one sperm with "His" DNA in in? Maybe he made a few billion?

If we could sequence Jesus' DNA, would we find the gene for GOD?

If God has normal DNA (i.e. just like ours) are we related to him by common decent?
