Christians have to know everything or else we are dishonest? I geuss if someone says they know everything and they really know that they, in fact do not, then they are dishonest. I think Faith just becomes very real and people confuse this with thinking what they believe is an obvious fact. I think Christians think they know a thing or two but haven't given it much thought or really had their beliefs challenged. So, If some of us think We believe in God based on some sort of proof and it turns out we were wrong it is really just faith, where does the dishonesty come in? It sounds like we are simply mistaken or just fuzzy on a matter. In order to prove dishonesty you would have to prove the Christian was really an atheist that was just trying to put a belief in God over on someone. I think there are some con artists like this, but I think they usually prey on Christians not atheists. |

You have answered your own question. Christians have been deceived into thinking faith=proof and faith = “truth”. From there it becomes an incredible chain letter of deceit. If Christians would just learn to keep it simple I don’t think we would be having this discussion. Starboy |
