OK, here's mine. (Another Mac desktop)

http://homepage.mac.com/macprince/desktop.jpg
(careful, dial-up folks, it's 434k)

This desktop picture is one of a couple dozen that I got from MacDesktops.com's "Landscapes - Water" section. It's set up to pick one from my collection at random when I wake the machine from sleep.
(that's actually one of the new ones that I downloaded today)

press the PrintScreen button on your keyboard (on the top row, should be next to F12), this will copy an image of your screen to the clipboard. Then paste it to an image editor and save.

The background is an image of Kwan-Yin I dug up on the internet somewhere. The OS is Mandrake 9 with a KDE desktop.

Yeah, I like theirs, too.

Cofffee, that's the Astronomy Pic of the Day from the day my son was born!

I'm attaching a pic that got passed around here (Rochester) quite a bit recently during the war.

Here's my desktop at work.

Most of those icons on my desktop are papers I've been meaning to read.
