What I don't get is how anyone in the US can have a xenophobic outlook. Except for native americans, everyone is foreign to the US, how can they exclude some nationalities? Especially those that dislike the british or germans (like some uber-pro-american "patriots" that hate everybody outside of the US), in all reality they're most likely of british or german descent. Xenophobes and racists are weird.

Not having had any biblical education in my life, I could be wrong - but isn't "An eye for an eye" an Old testament thing, and therefore not True Christianity (tm). I thought the Christian thang was to turn the other cheek.

Also, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth just leaves the whole world blind and gumming each other to death.
