exactly: get rid of the invisible men in the sky,and the urge to believe in nonsense will emerge in other ways, such as xenu and body thetans, or killing oneself in order to board UFOs trailing behind comets. the theistic virus won't be going away any time soon; it's like the common cold: it just mutates into something new and equally unpleasant.

amie, the next time you sing a hymn in church, please remember that your God wants you to shut the hell up in his holy house. if you ever get married (or are married now), please remember that you exist only to please your husband, because that's the will of your God.
oh, and you're worth less money to God than a man. happyboy |

Besides that, she's with me, I'm no submissionmonger. Amie didn't write the bible, nore is she a biblical literist, so why the hell are you bugging her for it's content. Off course everybody's free to speak their mind here. Me too. And if you're gonna blow up in my baby's face like that, I'm gonna tell you to shut the fuck up. There. |

Understand, however, that just because an atheist has a healthy dose of hatred for your religion, this does not mean that said atheist is "pissed off at the world." Sincerely, Goliath |

amie, i'm a rather happy man, all things considered. i love my family, i have a large circle of friends, i'm outgoing and social.
however, it pisses me off to no end seeing how some christians will take a "salad bar" mentality to their faith. it states in the bible that women are literally worth less money than men. it says women should be silent in church and submissive to men. it talks about rape, the murder of unborn children. it talks about a lot of horrific things, quite a few of which are aimed at your gender, amie. it makes me sad seeing how christians will take this salad bar approach to their faith. they ignore the things they find repugnant, and embrace the things they enjoy. i hereby apologize for sniping at you. it was uncalled for, and i ask your forgiveness. happyboy |
