OK someone was telling me there is a "first draft" of a Patriot Act II bill that is supposedly "out there on the Internet" designed to take more rights away. I would be suprised if a "first draft" of a bill like this made it's way onto the Internet but I'm asking here what anyone knows about this. Is this a rumor or is there something concrete here?

I think that the best proof of the existance of these clauses in the Patriot II act is the existance of the original Patriot act.

"oh, here's a few more rights we forgot to revoke in our first attempt"

"Patriot II" is not it's official name, however.

It's called the "Domestic Security Enhancement Act," and it is one scary assed Domestic Security Enhancement Act, I tell you what.
