Yes the whole model and the there was no time bit.

"If the universe is expanding as time moves "forward", then it was contracting as we move "backward" in time.

Consider in the limit, as contraction approaches this "singularity"."

I have heard it being compared to the lines of latitude on globes, that it just appears that way to us, while the reality (lets not get into that) is quite different.

Jet Black's "Regime Change" principle - at the singularity.

Works for me.

I think the idea is that its easier to admit that we don't know what happened before the "big bang" than to accept that ancient nomads had it all figured out 2000 years ago by listening to the little voices in their heads.

Can someone please explain why something from nothing is easier to believe, or takes less faith to believe than, ''In the beginning GOD created''?
In the former, you are just looking around and saying, "Well, it's kinda weird, but it looks like this is what happened." In the latter, you are postulating the existence of an extraordinarily powerful Being who exists somewhere outside our universe and has always existed. Where the hell did he come from?

If you believe that god created something from nothing, then how can you criticize other people for believing something can come from nothing?

This is somewhat typical of evolutionists, hundreds of words posted in response when three would have sufficed,
I DON'T KNOW.

Design points to a designer.

Stop trusting in man,
who has but a breath in his nostrils.
Of what account is he?

I could agree with you if you understood that only a vicious being with a severe multiple personality disorder would create such "masterpieces".

Well someone must believe it because they made a documentary stating it.

GOD creates something.
Nothing creates nothing.

Give me some examples of the visciousness and multiple personality disorder please.
