As a lower ranking member of the worldwide Evil Atheist conspiracy, we have no knowledge of our leaders. They remain safely hidden in secret until our plans of dire retribution against all theists is at hand. Belief in evolution is only the beginning! Prepare for assimilation! Atheists unite!

I like this argument.
X is all that is knowable. God is outside of X. Fine... Just a minor problem, though. If someone say that god is omnipotent, doesn't that fall under X and therefore not an attribute of god? If god showed himself to whoever uses this argument, wouldn't god fall under X aswell and negate his own existence? Therefore god can only be what can't be known, basicly because it doesn't exist. An interesting side effect from this argument: The bible must have lied about god's nature. Another side effect: God cannot be described as "outside of X" because that peice of knowledge of god's nature falls under X aswell and therefore isn't an attibute of god. The argument destroys itself. I hope not all theists use this failing argument. |
