I had no idea you were a lefty.
Neither did I. What brought that on?

Thanks for starching the curtains, though.
You're welcome.

I'll now ask the righties to iron them.

George W. Bush and his SS have institutionalized paranoia.

They trade exclusively on fear.

Remember the literally hundreds of "imminent terrorist attacks" that have been announced, but never happened?

Remember George's lies about what a threat Iraq's (noneisistent) Weapons of Mass Destruction presented?

Remember his lies about how Saddam Hussein supported Al Qaeda? (This is like the Klan supporting the NAACP.)

Remember the Dirty Bomber?

Remember duct tape and plastic sheets?

Remember smallpox?

Remember all the popsicle colors of the Alert Status?

Remember the Total Information Awareness Program designed to turn us into a nation of snitches?

All of these and more show that Bush wants to keep people frightened. Frightened people cannot think, and cannot even understand that they are being lied to.

You would think that after so many false cries of wolf, we would no longer believe this adolescent.

But not so. The media keep hawking fear, and many keep buying.

This is because Bush can offer no hope, only fear.

Fear will work for a time, but it is eventually self-limiting. When we get enough of it, we get numb, then we either turn on each other (unfortunately, this has started to happen) or we turn on a bogus outside enemy (ditt0), or--when we come to our senses--we wake up and realize the fearmonger Bush is the problem.

We all live in fear of the Bush administration and his Volkssturm (Homeland Security).

Perhaps Herr Bush will be overthrown in the next election. We can only hope so. Otherwise, we can hope that the UN is strong enough to overthrow the fourth reicht that is slowly forming.
