Default What did you think about the debates today?

Leiberman got booed once for suggesting the American people try school quotas and Gephardt blasted a few Democrats for being weak on labor issues. I didn't get to actually see it, but I figure a few people here probably caught some coverage of it.

Any opinions on who you think did well, or bombed?

I did catch it, but have no links. I was very pleased. Lieberman was not too popular, even his anti-Bush jokes ("without labor, we might have actually lost the election in 2000") did not do as well as those from other candidates. Dean was very popular, and basically anyone else who was very strong on labor had a lot of crowd support as many of the people there were union-associated.

Are you talking about the AFL-CIO debate? If you're quick, you can still catch the video on C-SPAN.

Bah I missed it. I really tried, but I had a rough week. I bet they replay it yet again.

Remember, I'm a Conservative, but I get a kick out of these candidates. I support Democracy in action but I could care less about these candidates themselves. The Democrats are largely identical except for a few issues, and varying degrees of support for most issues. These are cookie cutter candidates, but I want to find out what handful of issues they really disagree on, and see who argues logically their points on those issues.

You might get a kick out of this website, Ultron. http://debateusa.com/presidentialdebates/matchups.htm

If there's a debate schedule established it should be on that site, eh? Are there no other scheduled debates yet?
