Have you ever been inspired to purchase something you've seen on an infomercial (QVC counts, too)?
If so, what did you buy, and did it live up to your expectations? |

I've purchased some rings and loose gemstones from ACN TV and have been more than happy.
For example: - a 1.2ct emerald I bought for $65 appraised for $900. - a $49 sapphire ring appraised for $850. Of course I've purchased a couple of rings for $60 that were worth $60, too. |

Offhand, I forget the name of the product, but I purchased that rotisserie you can cook a whole turkey in. I used it many times and was quite satisfied with it.
Of course, I only had it about six months before I managed to run into it with my vacuum (don't ask) and bent its frame, rendering it unusable. Though it's not high on my list of priorities, I will probably buy another someday. |

The gym where I go has this sit-ups gizmo that comes from some sort of infomercial. I have used that from time to time.
Never bought anything myself though. |

And the sit-up gizmo at least feels like it is working. Your muscles in the abdomen gets a workout and there is less pain in the back compared to (how I do) regular sit-ups.

*sigh*
About 9 months ago I bought the Windsor Pilates videos. I have yet to use them, but when I do I'll let you know how good/bad they are. |

Bought a Safe-T-Fit from the As Seen on TV store. That's as close as I get.
edited to answer the rest of the questions (I'm a dolt): It seemed to work as advertised. Someday my twinkie little daughter will be big enough not to need it. |

My mom got some DiDi-7... but from the store, not by ordering directly from the infomercial.
For what it's worth, I thought it was a pretty decent cleaner too. |

When I was in high school I ordered some rings "C.O.D". It was an "Alaskan Diamond" and "tri colored gold" and some others...the Alaskan Diamond was hematite and everything was plated. It was crap. They also put me on a million mailing lists since they got my name wrong and everything came to Brenda Lyons which is not all that close to my name.
