Actually, he's got loads of fundamentalist links. A real satirist would point out the website was a joke and provide non-fundamentalist links as well.

Jekyll was once stalked by a man who thought he was a real-life vampire - he wanted to suck her blood so that it would combine with his to enhance his "abilities" (whatever they were).

There's a very good book out there about the sub-culture. It's called "Piercing the Darkness" by Katherine Ramsland. I bought it to try to understand the weirdo.

Bree, I am sorely disappointed in you. Frankly, I would think you of all people, who usually shows greater objectivness in judging others' lifestyles, would be a bit more sympathetic towards this small and greatly misunderstood community of individuals. Shocked, yes shocked I am at such close-minded judgement towards my brothers and sisters of the night. Usually the idea to these things is to maintain them looking 100% authentic, and admitting that it's actually fake takes away a lot of the reaction.

It'd be believable if the site were just holding an anti porn stance, but it does the same thing most sites that are making fun of people like that actually do - which is mentioning pretty much every prejudice of what is being mocked.

For example, the "Fag Facts" that is just so reactionary, the whole site is put together for reactions like this thread.

The fact that he DOES have loads of fundamentalist links is further indiction to me that it's all made up, like links to Jerry Falwell and Fred Phelps, nothing out of the ordinary - all things that are already cause a stir. There were also no links to religious or political sites that I haven't heard of. If this guy had been spewing this stuff all over the net for several years he'd have made some friends and would have had all kinds of links to his buddies' sites, not just Falwell, Hinn, Phelps, etc... There would be at least one link to some preacher, church or hate group that we haven't heard of.

I could be wrong, of course, but I've done a lot of these things myself and to me it just rings out as being one.
