crust is a fairly large punk subgenre. Its typically very political music with a very dirty harsh sound, an outgrowth of peace punk.

Classical - "Hall of the Mountain King," by Grieg
Jazz -- Linus & Lucy, Guaraldi Rock - Concrete Blonde, "Bloodletting" Rap - Don't listen to it enough to make judgment 80's - Walk Like an Egyptian, the Bangles (Second: China in Your Hand, T'Pau) Oldies - Depends on the definition. I'll take Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon. Techno/Electronica - Not if my life depended on it. Romance -- You mean, best love song? Hmmm. Can't think of one off the top of my head. And a couple of genres not in the original question, Country: Neko Case, "Furnace Room Lullaby" Folk: The Roches, "Hammond Song" Humorous: Weird Al Yankovic, "One More Minute" Rob aka Mediancat |

Classical - None, I don't listen to it.
Jazz - Chet Baker, "Let's Get Lost" Rock - Mott the Hoople, "All the Young Dudes" or Weezer, "The Good Life" Rap - Eminem, "Stan" 80's - Tears for Fears, "Mad World" Oldies - Beatles... uh... I don't listen to much before 1970, but I listen to a *lot* from the 70's, does that count as "oldies" yet? "Life on Mars" by Bowie is one of my favorites. Techno/Electronica - New Order, "1963-95" Romance - Nope. I gotta add... Punk - Alkaline Trio, "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" |

Jazz - ermmmmmmm, nope, really cannot think of one.
Classical - much easier: Brandenburg no.3, by JSB Pop - "Down Under", by Men At Work Rock - "Born to Raise Hell", by Motorhead, Ice T and Whitfield Crane Rock'n'Roll - "Cigarettes and Alcohol", as covered by Rod Stewart Oldies - "Nadine", by Chuck Berry Bluegrass - "Bending the Strings", Earl Scruggs Metal - "Breaking the Silence", Queensryche Thrash - "Objection Overruled", 'coz you cannot beat Exodus Post-Thrash - "Smoked Out", Flotsam and Jetsam has evolved Techno - "Comin' On" (album version), by the woefully underrated Shamen Rap - "I'm the Man", by Anthrax. What else could it possibly be? Romantic - "Share it with Me", All About Eve Country - "Take it Down", John Hiatt at his heartwrenching best Punk - "Skate to Hell", Gang Green |
