Now those are the kind of positive and productive thoughts/words that can really get my motor revved up. Our objective should be to embrace anyone that sincerely understands and cares about the glorious freedom to express our individual consciences in any manner we chose, within the federal republic secular laws, without fear of government limitations or intrusions. Additionally, we should seek out and put into immediate practice any and all means to "accurately" educate our fellow Americans and all peoples, who may not as yet completely understand, to the true significance of what that Church(religion-God)-State(government-Caesar)Separation "WALL" truly means to everyone's individual rights, freedoms and liberties. (I continue to believe that it is the fundamental cornstone that supports our pluralistic democracy.) Aside: The "AD Council" has just begun placing wonderful TV spots on the air. They talk about "E pluribus unum" (Out of many, one). They display our diversity of people and cultures not as a weakness, but as a symbol of our strength. I can't imagine better timing for these ads as a reminder that we are a nation of world immigrants who have banded together under the uplifting ideals contained in our Declaration of Independence and the uniquely glorious principles contained in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Any thing or one that would attempt to infringe upon or diminish the true intent and value of those documents should be met with the utmost outrage and restistance. Yet here we are, over 200 years later, with certain religionists attempting to re-write those documents in their intolerant and bigoted image and far too many citizens remaining silent and permitting this malignancy to grow and spread...primarily because they have become too lazy to become well-informed and then Go Vote the vested interest religionists, not true principles and morality, out of all government offices. Thes could prove very useful in your search for support. Perhaps we are the ones lacking in the creative imagination on how best to make use of the supporting institutions. http://www.interfaithalliance.org/about-us/index.htm http://www.interfaithalliance.org/alliances/index.htm http://www.interfaithalliance.org/rresource/index.htm (Click on "Faith Traditions" in the first paragraph to identify the various ones.) http://www.freedomforum.org/templates/document.asp?documentID=3933 Then there are the AU, PFAW, ACLU, and a good many cult watchdog groups as well as all those religious organizations who have indicated support for "VOICES for Evolution" produced by The National Center for Science Education.
