With all of the recent talk about it, I was wondering how many of you came here for the If You Have Set Yourself On Fire Do Not Run thread, and then liked the other stuff you saw and decided to stay?

Just wondering, 'cause I know the IIDB had record traffic once word got out about the thread. We had a lot of one-time posters, I'm just curious how many stayed. I'm also willing to bet there are some still lurking out there.

But i just joined up a couple days ago. Not sure when the fire thread was originally posted. Ijust learned about it well about a week ago.

But mostly the reason why I stayed is one of my message boards has become entirely too preachy for me and one can only be biblethumped for so long before you have to get out. So. I'm here. Its nice to read posts and messages from other from a similar mindset. Without finding out that I'm going to "hell" in every other breath.

You may still get thumped here, but that's only from certain users here. If you don't know who they are already, you'll find out, depending on which fora and threads you choose to visit. If you haven't already, you might want to introduce yourself on our Welcome Forum.
