In longer threads, such as the photo gallery, when I hit the link for "last page" in the thread listings I get a "The page cannot be displayed" message. I can still get to the last page by clicking on the first page of the thread, then clicking on the page number, though.
It happens on all longer threads; I've tried several and with different browsers. Am I a tard or is there a problem? (and yes, I know those aren't mutually exclusive) apology for the derogatory term, some of my best friends are mentally disabled |

I just tried it on the photo gallery thread, the atheist testimony thread, the CF reloaded thread, and a couple others. It worked fine for me.
(I use Mozilla BTW.) |

I don't seem to be having any issues either. Is this a recent problem?

Sounds to me like some sort of timeout issue. Are you on dial-up?

hmm, I just tried again with "Atheists Testimony" and the photo gallery and it didn't work.
I then tried it with mozilla and it worked fine. Must be my IE. Strange and, no, I'm on cable. |

If it is an issue with IE, then I have to ask you: have you recently updated your software using the Windows Update mechanism? If not, it might pay you to do so, particularly since you are on a cable modem (machines on cable modems are ready targets for hackers and others with malicious intents). Microsoft has released a number of key security fixes over the past few days (not IE related, though).
I keep my software totally up to date, and when I click on "Help" and "About" in IE the version number displayed for me is: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 If yours is an earlier version, then I would suggest an update. For what its worth, I clicked on the "lastpage" link in the Photoshop thread and another thread in the links always worked for me. == Bill |
