Ricer from "rice rocket" is usually used when talking about motorcycles. I've more commonly heard "riceboy" used when talking about cars. Riceboys mod their cars to make them look as if they go fast, but the mods are usually non-functional. Riceboys and homeboys here in Oakland mod their cars up for "sideshows" or what used to be called a drag race. In the San Francisco Bay area, no one is going to use the term "drag" to mean anything but cross-dressing.
![]() Damn, the RiceBoy domain has gotten swiped by cybersquatters. I was going to direct y'all to the definitive page on riceboy cars. And "automatic" is now standard. Even the new Porches, Corvettes, and Z350s come with automatic transmission as part of the "standard" package. Manual transmission can no longer be considered "standard." |

I take it back. My IP setup was hijacked, someone figured out how to tag a new nameserver onto the end of my entries. "Scumware" is right in this case. I'm still trying to figure out how they did that...
Anyway, Brian's Rice Boy Page Uncle Ben Racing Page |
