Why? The Torah is the first 5 books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The Mosaic laws. The NT is based off of the OT - Moses is discussed in the NT, as is Abraham and Adam. The torah is the beginning of God's plan of Salvation, starting with the Jews, with the Gentiles in the middle, and the Jews being the focus again in Revelation. The Torah is part of Christianity, because Christianity comes from the Jews and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Judaism, is the root of Christianity.

Don't know what your obnoxious remark was gonna be but save it.

Well, I am Jewish ( don't even start with the Messianic crap, not dealing with that - you don't accept my claim of being Jewish, tough - keep it to yourself). No one else becomes Jewish, because God ended the Old Covenant ( which makes mainstream Judaism a failing attempt at salvation according to God), and gentiles can no more be Jewish, then an asian person can become caucasian. A gentile can't be Jewish, the ethnic nationality, unless they are born of the Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob bloodline, coming from ancestors of the tribe of Judah.

Well, the thing about that is that in the 10 Commandments, it says "You shalt not worship any god but me". So if I worship Jesus, then that means that i'm worshipping another god, right? Now you're going to turn around and pull the covenant thing, and that nullifies the 10 Commandments, right?

So...if the Torah, or OT, is outdated (strange for a supposedly perfect being's orders), why read it? Why keep such archaic and irrelevant material?

Because the laws serve as a guide to what we are doing wrong. And it is also the history of God's creation and the beginnings of His plan to bring salvation to humanity, as well as containing the majority of the prophecies that are fulfilled in the NT. Its a glimpse into the past and what life was like in relation to God, since none of us can observe it.

No, it doesn't mean you are worshipping another God since Jesus = God in the flesh. You are worshipping one God.

To me, it illustrates the hypocrisy, hatred of mankind, pettiness, inconsistency etc. of your deity. It is much more likely that it was fabricated and written by men. I think that you think it's true because you agree with what's written, while you have no proof.
