1. I never saw Dave post anything racist.

2. I already knew that Dave was not a racist before that thread.

3. A week or two before that thread, you had started another thread trying to justify the genocide committed against Native Americans.

Thanks for pointing it out--it wasn't in the message buffer as it appeared on my screen. I load up multiple threads so I don't have to wait for them to load--but that means I'm sometimes looking at a bit old thread.

he said darkies about 2 posts I think above mine. if the use of that word is racist than so is he. calling me a racist based on the use of that word and not him is hypocritical. whether or not I think that taking the land from the indians is justified or not is besides the point.

I could be racist towards native americans, and not towards african americans, thus the use of the word "darkies" would not be racist. Another user thought that it was obvious that I was quoting red dave, am I then to assume that he is also a racist?


Interesting, to note, I have decided that my argument in the native american thread was invalid and have since changed my mind about that point.

I assume that you think that the word darkies is racist since that is the example that you used to label me a racist. so the above statement is either,

1 a lie

or

2 an example of poor reading comprehension.

Since my name is being taken in vain, let me clarify. I said this in a posting on the Black History Month thread.

Its purpose was ironic. Ever since, it's been batted around to prove that I am a racist or some sort. If people can't dig irony, too bad.
