I also think that sympathy for their plight is fairly universal. It's a pity we can't pray for them. Life sometimes deals you a bum hand and you just have to go with it. It makes you realise how lucky you are sometimes. I mean to say, can you imagine being born like that? I could cope with most things, but I think I would just top myself if I was born Egyptian.

P.S. - so how do the people in the other forum in which you brought this up feel about it?

I would say about 25% say they should be separated no matter what, about 50% say separate if there is a good chance of at less one of the twins pulling through, while about 25% think that they should only be separated if the chances of death or brain damage are low.

RogerLeeCooke (aloft^^^^): Yes! Yes! the enchanting "theological implications"! (*Theology*: the science the subject of which is an-otherwise-non-existent human fiction) The whole sub-subject of the *Alleged* "soul" and of the insoluble paradoxes wh/ result from its allegation will suffice to wile-away a century or two of sleepless nights. ("Wile" is the verb I intend, here.) Sorry; I'm divagating from this thread's topic. We ought to open-up a topic to discuss "the (alleged) soul". Yes! Abe
