I went to school with a Frosty Winter Knight and if I remember correctly he had a sister named Summer. I don't remember what her first name was though.

Years later I ran across the name Thornton Blizzard in a phone book and thought that that would be a fantastic super-villian name should I ever decide to take up super-villany.

Then there were two programmers I knew named Eagle and Sage. Given names. I kid you not.

A friend of mine was contributing name suggestions to a relative (I think it was his brother), and suggested "Polly Ethyl". Their last name? "Lynn".

He almost got them to use it, too.

I used to work with a guy named Scotty Poe. I told him to his face that he should have a son and name him Al.

The father of a guy I went to high school with was named Dr. Richard Liss. He insisted that he be called Richard and not Dick. Although behind his back everyone called him Dr. Dickliss. Years later I heard a DJ on the radio doing prank phone calls. One of them was to a Dr. Dickliss. The Doctors assistant did not find the humor in it.

Eh, it's not so funny as some of the other ones, but my last name is Goodnight. My father has said sometimes that they should have named me Anita Goodnight. I'm glad he didn't.
