Southernhybrid and I feel like socializing again. We've talked about getting together on March 15th or 16th, and either cruising the park at Stone Mountain, or else going to Little Five Points/ Virginia Highlands and doing our part to keep that section of Atlanta weird.
![]() Any Infidels who have been to our previous klatches know that we can be a fun bunch- if you haven't gotten to come to any of these, you should come and see that we're interesting people IRL, as well as here at II. If you would like to come, just sing out- we'll finalize plans, and arrange meeting places, over the next week or two. And if you have a preference for one of the two plans above, or even something completely different, say so. ![]() |

Hey, it's fine with me- but mightn't your wife object?
![]() So, Stone Mountain on the 16th. Say, around noon? We can meet at the first parking lot on the right after the ticket booth- although it's been a long time since I've been to the park, and they may not even have a parking lot where I'm thinking of... |

Sweet... the best thing about not being religious is having Sundays free to do cool stuff like that. As long as I don't have duty or some huge test, I'll try to be there.
I do Habitat for Humanity every Saturday, so I'm all about some Sunday gatherings. ![]() |

great idea Jobar. I have missed the last gathering due to a term paper being due but I should be able to come this time.

Hello fellow Georgians. Id love to meet with you at Stone Mountain. We do need to pick a place to meet though. Jobar: by the first parking lot on the right do you mean the "crossroads" parkinglot? If so, exactly where? I sugest the corner closest to the projector building as indicated on the map below.
I think socializing is a great idea. I have found a few groups that meet regularly near me. Atlanta Freethought Society meets the second Sunday of each month in Roswell. Steve Stokes from FOR moderates a philosophical discussion group on the second and third Wednesday of each month in Buckhead and Gwinnett respectively. I know of a few others but these are the ones I regularly attend. ![]() |

Can we make the time a little bit later than noon and yes let's get clear about the exact meeting place. What highway does that crossroads entrance access?
I'm glad you'll be joining us, I am. We've had a lot of fun at our past Atlanta Infidel socials and it will be good to have some new people joining in the fun. |
