Don't fault them overly much. They have no natural defenses against the truth.

Like roaches, they fear the light, shrug. Let them scurry, most are so closed in their mindsets that I doubt that should you be allowed to refute their poor science and outrageous claims, that it would make any difference. The doors to their minds have been shut, barred, nailed, and they use their scriptures to close off even the cracks and block the keyhole, lest a single shaft of candle light get through.

Hmm, can't you hear them piling the furniture up against the other side even as we speak?

As an ignorant 17 year old on a Destroyer in WW2 this is the kind of language we used. It is as effective now as it was then. I'm still ignorant, but not quite as then.
