The taliban still does exist?
Just like al queda still does exist. It is true that the muslim wahhabi mind will always exist. You must reeducate the muslims to stop killing and hating america but that is just a fantasy.
The muslim wahhabi religion teaches that America is the enemy of Islam. If this is the case than our war is against wahhabi islam including the country of saudi arabia. These religions that hate america will have to be destroyed or the war on terror will never end and cost us for as long as america exists. America must destroy wahhabi islam before wahhabi islam destroys us |

mark9950, your above post is a political diatribe and has nothing to do with the veracity of the Koran. GRD is for discussions of religion, and not for your dystopic views of which belief systems deserve anhilation. Take it to PD, please.

River you've ducked my questions. Please answer them. (I notice you've also done that on another thread.)

These questions do have bearing on the legitimacy of Mohammed as a prophet. These have puzzled me and I am asking you for answers. |

I did not duck your questions. The answers I would have to provide would be beyond the scope of the post. I asked you to read the Prophet's Biography by Martin Lings to understand how relations and legislation were being formed in an emerging Muslim community. Uthman's Qur'an and Muhammad's Qur'an are identical in content. Abrogation, was a concept that helped fuse the early Muslim community. You must remember Revelation was revealed in 23 years. You can not shove a whole religion down someone's throat , overnight. The abrogation process was pragmatic and an efficient part of the Reform process. Prophet Muhammad was a Revolutionary, and he "fused" the early Muslim community over time.....(this concept is too complex....I do not expect you or most anyone here to understand this) .....just read the Prophet's Bio by Martin Lings....it will answer all of your questions. I promise you. No one can change G-d's words. The abrogated verses were part of the Heavenly Template ( Al-Furqan) in heaven. They were part of the original Design. Surah 2:106 is also talking about Revelation. For example G-d replaced Zoroaster and Abraham's ( may peace be upon them) Revelations with the Holy Taurat . Later he replaced the Holy Taurat with the Injeel of Jesus Christ (pbuh). Finally , He replaced the Injeel with the Holy Qur'an. These abrogations were necessary because humans have added and omitted from the Original. The Qur'an however is designed for all of Hu-manity till the End of Time. |

One must give credit to Muslims for being straightforward about abrogation of earlier laws. By comparison, Xtian abrogation of various Old Testament laws is surrounded by mumbo jumbo of how Jesus Christ had allegedly "fulfilled" them.
