In all honesty, I don't see why humans being a product of evolution disproves salvation by Jesus. We atheists tend to equate at times Christianity with Creationism. That's of course not true. Disproving Jewish Creation Mythologies, isn't going to impact Faith in salvation. Most Christians understand that. It is the ignorant few who don't.
As to Jesus, it's not up to us to prove that he wasn't the son of God. ~~RvFvS~~ |

I disagree with the above whole heartidly.
I'll be honest, people have warped Xianity into what-ever-the-fuck-they-want-it-to-be. So I'm not saying it's going to stop people from being Christians. But without the Old Testament there is no foundation of truth for the New Testament. Especially considering the NT has many references to the OT and in fact has a few particular pieces where Jesus expresses himself as a fundy. Pretty soon we'll have people considering the entire Bible, both OT and NT fables, and yet they'll still believe in God and Jesus somehow. |
