If you really don't want to disapoint her, worry less about your equipment and more about hers, i.e. before you dive in make sure you know where the clitoris is and what she likes done with it. If you do that you'll be a better lover than the majority of straight men currently wandering around out there, no matter what size you're packing.

Besides, a penis always looks smaller to the person it's attached to. Foreshortening and all that.

I agree with LadyShea and villianess.

1. Skill - practice makes perfect.
2. Knowledge - educate yourself about female bodies.
3. Emotions - would rather be with someone that really cares than with someone that is both skillful and knowledgeable.
4. Awareness - even with 1-3 you are still gonna both have to figure out what in particular is pleasing to your partner.
5. Stop worrying and relax.

Remember women come in different sizes too. 4-5" sounds about right to me!! My hubby is around 6" and if he isn't careful can bottom out.....talk about a turnoff!

If I had to choose I would take oral sex over anything else.

An obvious question--is the girlfriend a virgin? Do you have reason to believe she'll know exactly what to expect, size-wise? Odds are it's not going to be a real breath-taking experience for her the first time anyway, and as others have pointed out, most women don't orgasm sheerly due to penetration; it's all about clitoral stimulation. Get her going there and she won't care how big you are.
