Default Article on First person shooter video games and the side effects of them

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...archers_report

I think this is really pretty obvious.

My friends always comment on how alert and observant I am when I drive, or even in everyday situations. I've always attributed that to First Person Shooters. They teach you to be alert and think fast. I can't see anything wrong with that quality, though undoubtedly, some parent-group will come up with some reason or another to condemn this study as well.

I noticed that when I was playing lots of Counter-Strike my visual skills were much improved. I was looking for snipers behind every tree. Unfortunately, I was obsessed with the game (playing 10 hours a day) and had to take a break. I'll get back into it in a few months.

Interesting.

My brother runs http://www.free-fall.net and is DiveBomber.
That must be why he is such a good driver and video game player, lots of fast twitchy muscles.

I can't play the games that much, motion sickness, very annoying (worse as I age for some reason)
