One can be used to mean a thing, but not in this context. Could you please compare the sentence structure of "One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods" with the examples of ways to use "one" as shown here: one (ANY PERSON) and here: one (PARTICULAR THING/PERSON)? Which examples of the usage of "one" does it match the closest?
And exactly how do you reconcile your belief that the "one" means anything with "One who ..."? does "who" also refer to anything? (who) If this post doesn't convince you, I give up. |
