The very first post in this thread stated "I realize that this may be offtopic for the E/C forum."

Should have heeded that 17 pages ago. Since it has wandered too far afield of E/C to ever find its way back, I am moving it to Misc. Discussions, as there still does seem to be a discussion going on here, just not an E/C one.

I hope that this will circumvent any future problems. The thread is not closed, just moved. Please follow it to Misc. Discussions and continue there.
