Yeah, I'm used to it being PVR, not DVR; when I see "DV", I usually think camcorders. Ah well. (I got it right though)

Echoes: Yep, I'm the same Stiletto One that you'll see anywhere. As far as I know, I'm the only person online using this handle.

Meantime, I think we've got a disproportionately large number of people here in the "compu/tech literate" category; most of my friends from school wind up solidly in my "Ehh" range.

At first I got 9. The terms I missed I missed were Megahertz and DVR.

Megahertz??? Exsqueeze me??? No no no!!! I checked the one about unit of measurement for electical cycles! Back button... Nope, wrong one is checked. Could explain why I got the thin-crust pizza last week instead of the hand-tossed like I wanted.

DVR - Technically, a box that makes DVDs is Recording Digital Video. Ok, must be a box that records and play TV proggies.

Fix those, and I'm in the top 3%. I AM 3L33t!! Give me warez, d00dz!!

I got question 5 wrong. I was thinking of a "digital video recorder" as in a DV camera
Same here. 10/11

I got an 8, because there were a bunch of questions about cell phone crap (text messaging, etc) that aren't actually "COMPUTER literacy" questions.
Technically, the test is titled "The Technology Terminology and Complexity Test"

I got the one about the SMS wrong. I didn't realise the test was about cellphones too. I have a cellphone, but....

.....I don't like them.

(Work necessity).
