How unfortunate for you. Does your husband (if you have one) believe also, or is he an atheist like you? And what do your children believe?

My wife and I moved away from our families within a month of getting married. There is always, except during vacations, over a 1000 miles between us and our families. It certainly has its advantages.

Again, this is all none of my business, so feel free to ignore these questions.

My husband, who is a (weak IMO) Christian, considers sleeping in on Sunday to be sacred somehow. I am more likely to go to church than he is to get out of bed. Needless to say, we all sleep. Sometimes I'll wake up earlier and just enjoy the quiet.

My husband and my kids are believers. So I try to support their beliefs. I just now wish that I attended a different church than my inlaws so that I would not be policed. My husband can stay home and sleep in if he chooses, I am the one expected to attend.

None of my bidness, but anyway:

1) Get an answering machine to pick up the phone for you so you can get some beauty sleep!!

2)What exactly would the in laws do if you didn't go to church on a particular Sunday? If they call you bad names, I would hang up the phone or walk out of their house, depending on the situation.
That's the only way to deal with fundies and not go completely nuts.

Well, it would make my mom-in-law worry. I love her and want to please her. Oh, well. We are going to Bush Gardens tomorrow, though. We just renewed our passes, so I expect we'll be spendin our Sundays there more often. YAY! I wuv Bush Gardens, but it sux that they only serve beer there. I can't even get a Bacardi rum thingy there. Well, there's always an option to stock up the cooler with the good stuff. Walking just burns off all the calories.

I wake up early (around 5 is the norm) just to shower then go back to sleep. It feels so fresh and clean. Then after about three hours, I wake up again and cook some homestyle frozen poptarts.

I love my Sundays

Sleeping. I like to go to the movies in the afternoon, though.

This morning I woke up early to deal with two crying women. Err, one child, one woman.

Most of the time I sleep, though occasionally I work. Just the beginning of a 60 hour week when that's the case.
