I don't have any photos of it, but I have one of these(Hope this works):

Edit to add:

Yes, it works!

Anyway for anyone interested and who doesn't already know, it's a 1962, EK Holden, and has a whopping 22.5 hp(yes, the decimal point is in the right place ).

THIS!

Once the Sentra is paid off, it will be MINE...
I will take eleventy billion dollars. Yes, a 350z would be nice. Sweet ride. For me, I think brickyard red would be in order. But alas I am but a poor grad student.

Actually, at the moment I would kill to have a 240z to fix up, and I think I would be able to pull it off. Except that I would piss off my parents because I would dump the car off with them for the school year. We'll see.

*SIGH* Vauxhall VX200. Yet another light, agile, relatively affordable small sports car that we will never see in the States. No Fiats, no Alfas, no Lotus Elise, none of the truly enjoyable European Volkswagens. Only recently did we start to get the hot-rod rally cars from Japan, and even then we only got toned-down versions.

There are times, like now, when I truly despise the relatively spacious US Interstate Highways, the bigger-is-better mentality, the very US idea that driving is about opulence and about being seen, rather than about driving. All things that persuade Yanks that SUVs are actually enjoyable to drive. SUV sales that persuade car manufacturers to build ho-hum econoboxes for the laboring masses, which they can sell at cost, because they make 30% profit on SUVs.

The evolution of American car-buying habits is at work. And the results are not pretty.

No, mine's cream, with a touch of rust thrown in to add character.

Cool, mongrel! My parents had an FC at one stage - very similar. Next car was a Toyota Corona. Very exotic in 1964; one of the first Toyotas in Australia. Indicator switch on the steering column, and all!

That's a bit of a classic - do people offer to buy it from you?

Hehe. I've lost count of the number of times.

I've had it since '96, when it replaced a 2 year old Hyundai Excel, which I was never too keen on(after I got it, anyway). The ute's cheaper to run, too(with the original motor), although it now needs a lot of work to get it back up to the condition it was in when I got it.

In my aunt's garage I have an FX ute as well, but that's just a rolling chassis at the moment, and will probably be sold in the near future. Bought that with the intention of restoring it to original condition, but that doesn't look like happening now.

It amazes me now to think of all the gadgets on more modern cars. Mine has no hazard lights, no lighter socket(although it was an optional extra), no fan for the heater, single speed wipers, no key hole on the drivers side door...
