There is no way to take this test without ending up with some sort of personality disorder.

I got "Low" on all of them.
Did anyone else? I guess that means *I* am the one with a personality disorder. What a minute!? I just said that which implies lack of self-confidence which means I have a personality disorder but I recognized it immediately so I don't. Where is that darned snake and why is it eating its tail? DC |

Disorder Rating Information
Paranoid: Low Schizoid: Low Schizotypal: Low Antisocial: Low Borderline: Moderate Histrionic: Moderate Narcissistic: Low Avoidant: Low Dependent: Low Obsessive-Compulsive: Low Borderline Borderline personality disorder is characterized by mood instability and poor self-image. People with this disorder are prone to constant mood swings and bouts of anger. Often, they will take their anger out on themselves, causing themselves injury. Suicidal threats and actions are not uncommon. They think in very black and white terms and often form intense, conflict-ridden relationships. They are quick to anger when their expectations are not met. Histrionic People with histrionic personality disorder are constant attention seekers. They need to be the center of attention all the time, often interrupting others in order to dominate the conversation. They use grandiose language to discribe everyday events and seek constant praise. They may dress provacatively or exaggerate illnesses in order to gain attention. They also tend to exaggerate friendships and relationships, believing that everyone loves them. They are often manipulative. Well, I don't exaggerate illness, nor do I often over dramatize, I often try to underplay things, but golly, I do go all out in dress if it isn't too hot out. And I certainly don't think everyone loves me. Ho hum... |

I got low on every disorder too, and I'm the person everyone always tells to shut up, sit down, and be like everybody else.
![]() Then again, I came to the conclusion long ago that insanity is nothing more than having a different mental disorder than the majority. ![]() Am I the only person who thinks that medication is the last thing that should be used to treat mental illness? |

yeah, i think these tests tend to be a bit unconvincing. half the time i wanted to say, 'yes, i am x, but not for the reason you're positing.' and the other half of the time, i wanted to say 'sometimes'. and a lot depends on the situation. thus, according to the Jung-Myers-Briggs test, you're either an introvert or an extrovert. but personally, i think i can be both, depending on what environment i'm in. if i sense people around me are going to 'get' me and my sense of humour, i'm an extrovert, whereas if i think they're not going to 'get' me i retreat into myself.
