Sorry for silly question I'm new to computers and the web,
do you have a guide to the letter icons?
some are closed with a black dot some are not, why?

Hi DBT9522 -

Scroll down to the bottom of any forum right underneath the Forum Jump field to see a key explaining the different envelope icons. The ones with a dot in the middle are threads in which you've posted.

livius drusus is correct, plus you can consult the FAQ sticky thread at the top of this forum (BP&C).
