One thing I saw for crawling insects, that might also work on mice, is to take a bowl, coat the inside in spray teflon, put some food in the bottom and a ramp from outside the bowl to the rim. The vermin can get into the bowl via the ramp, but they can't climb out because the teflon is too slippery.

I tried that. Caught over 12 mice and drove them outside of town and released them. I think the word got around "free rides" cause they kept on comming in the house. I finally bought poison put it outside where I figured they were getting in and they stopped. One little mousey managed to make it to the living room where he died in agony in front of my screaming wife.

Hmm, interesting. Now you've got me thinking about all the suburbs that back onto the national park. I don't want to give away the secret in a public forum, though. So I'll just say, if you've been flooded out in the last few days and you've called in the SES, it's my brother in law who'd be putting the tarpaulin on your roof.

Look for entry points into your place and seal them. I kept getting mice in our last house as they were tearing up the ground across the highway for a construction project. I took a tube of silicon caulk and filled in every crack and pipe penetration near the foundation, then came inside and did the pipes under sinks, areas between cabinets, etc.

Mice can squeeze through extremely small openings. We used a flashlight and sealed anything that light could get through. Then trapped the bastard that was stuck inside. If you dont find the entry point(s), catching them just makes space available for the next one.

Yea, these suckers are really tiny, but I must have gotten their King, one pretty big one from last night. I caught 8 so far. I plugged one small hole, still looking for others.
