[Advocatus Diaboli Mode ON--Ed.]
Then should we have separate funding for schools for fat kids, geeky kids, and anyone else picked on? [Advocatus Diaboli Mode OFF--Ed.] However, on a Cable New channel, the host kept asking the same question but kept listing "Christian" children in the list of "those oppressed." Never mentioned Jewish, Moslem, Atheist, Dionysian kids. . . . --J.D. |

But segregating isn't the answer to such a problem. |

There will be teasing and bullying in the "gay" HS just as there is amongst members of the community now. Perhaps if we made home school mandatory . . . then we would only have to combat sibling rivalry. Segregation is not the answer. This does not mean one should tolerate bullying either. --J.D. |

Boys and girls may be more likely to engage in non-traditional activities as per the website's blurb when in same-sex schools. But in the "real world" men and women don't perform their jobs separately. It would be far better to educate and overcome the biases that cause the hesitation in the first place than simply to give up in my opinion. |
