I got curious about what is now common among real women after seeing the hullabaloo over the Gucci print ad where the woman had been shaved/trimmed into the shape of a "G". I still can't understand what the big deal is about that -- how is that demeaning to women?

Anyways... back to the topic at hand.

If I go by the pictorials in Playboy, it would seem that the "Landing Strip" (with everything else bare) and the Brazilian are the in things. I think both of those look good.

My mom was aghast when I showed her some pics in Playboy, though, she said she thought it must be really uncomfortable . I guess she likes the "As Nature Intended It" kinda thing.

I prefer just the Landing Strip maintained with a razor (I am not brave enough to wax there!). Once I tried it, I found this cut enhanced EVERYTHING. It does take effort to maintain it though, but I think it is worth it.

I'm curious what both the women have and the men prefer...

I'm a man, and I think it's all great, from natural to completely bare -- though the barer, the sexier. A reasonably trim Triangle is more cute than sexy, but is still great.

I realize that some women don't like to shave down there either because it itches or they fear it might itch. How is your Landing Strip working for you? Does it itch?

Not everyone should go bare ... not everyone looks the same. I like the "landing strip" and I've seen pictures of other things like a curvy 'V' and one like a 'Y'. I don't mind a full natural growth either, so long as it's not out of control. Never had the urge to do anything to mine, though. Worried about itchiness and such.

ok enough with the smartass response. Personally it doesn't matter to me as long as my girl is comfortable with whatever she has! The shaving it into a G for an ad IMO is kinda stupid but if I saw the ad I would prob'ly like it. I think that the .. um.. *blush* actual bodypart that the hair is by is way more interesting than the 'style'. Now that I have thouroughly made an arse of meself I will stop.

Anyone care to speculate on the popularity of this topic? Is it an indicator of underlying sexual tension among the members? A fetish especially prevalent among the godless population? A way to express sexuality in a more "acceptable" manner than the raucous cyber-orgies we secretly crave? If it's bushy you aren't going to see the actual opening which probably turns off some customers. I doubt trimming it would lose customers, though. What sells might not be what people prefer.
