What beauty or personal care ritual do you hate, put off, or try to avoid doing until it absolutely must be done?

Today I was reminded how much I HATE plucking my eyebrows. It is soooooooooooooo fucking painful. And you have to keep at it, hair after hair, with a kind of masochistic vendetta. Yah! Yah! Yah!

Unfortunately I see no way around it. I love the way having my brows nicely plucked opens up and stylizes my visage. But jeebus, the pains we go to to look beautiful...

say it with me now . . . . ."shaveing" yes i hate it and i (if i was being clean shaven all the time) would have to do it about every 18 hours which is obscene as it hurts like mad, as it stands i put it off every other day (the length makes it easer to shave, which is my one excuse, the other is so i dont have to hug people, of late this has failed but it keep trying) oh how i hate the pain of razor burn and the potential for the cutting of the face . . . . .ouch

I have to go with the eyebrows, too. I hate doing them, but I guess it's worth it when I'm finished.

I'm the same about my eyebrows.

I also find doing my nails to be a great big bore.

Actually, I find most of it to be rather dull most of the time. I guess I'm really not all that girlie - although I do like to feel feminine, and will totally pamper myself with girlie-girl homemade beauty treatments on the occassional wet Sunday. I'm lucky I still have good skin, as I've never really been one of those 3-step, twice a day ladies.

Easy - shaving my legs. Although now that my hair has gotten really long and thick, blowdyring my hair is getting to be a chore too.

For my hair to look decent, I have to carefully dry/style it and it takes forever...99% of the time I stick it in a clip or ponytail for going to work etc...though I love it down.

Never heard of anyone having to blow dry their leg hair before...but if you hate shaving them that much...
