You have generalized from my opinion /post, Thomas Cassidy; and I object to that generalization of yours. I did NOT fasten my opinion to EVERYONE who disagrees w/me; I was offering an opinion in response to the OP :Why is creationism rife in the USA? I apologize to the members for not having narrowed my response to "It is my opinion that some creationists *whom I have known personally* were ignorant = uninformed about what we may label "scientific facts/knowledge" ; and that those same persons, acquaintances of mine, have indeed vouchsafed THEIR opinion as FACT that their belief in the miraculous & inexplicable overrides any alleged "facts" that I might offer/have offered."
Please be a little more scrupulous; and certainly I will try also to be more scrupulous at the cost of prating-on too long..... Thank you. |
