I'm asking about them because my computer's analog headphone socket has conked out.

However, it does have USB, meaning that I may be able to use USB headphones and speakers with it; Apple advertises Harman-Kardon USB speakers as an add-on for its recent Macs.

Any recommendations on USB headphones?

How plug-and-play do they tend to be?

How compatible do they tend to be with MacOS X?
