The inefficient nature of evolution as a design algorithm, and in particular the paths it took on earth, is a powerful argument against us being the intentional end goal and hence most theistic gods.
The Christian god, of course, could easily create the Big Bang in such a manner that all the correct mutations and environmental factors were pre-loaded to create humans in only a few million years. Instead, we see billions of years before we appear, 99% of species going extinct, and around 50 gazillion types of horse, only one of which survived. Oh, and a great many beetles. ![]() |
