Just curious about others' posting habits here, to see how similar they are to mine:
- Do you find yourself proofing your posts after you've submitted them, then finding errors and going back to edit them? - Do you ever get fired up from reading a post, write up a lengthy response, and by the time you're done, you don't care anymore and thus never wind up submitting it? - Do you head to sites like dictionary.com often to make sure that the word you're using actually means what you think it does? - Does anyone know what the little blue arrow emoticon above is supposed to be used for? |

Type, preview then post...and it almost never fails that I have missed some glaring typo...I guess it's a good thing that the new vBulletin board doesn't recognize edits in the first few minutes after the post has been made.
![]() I find myself typing a reply then 'not bothering' more on snopes than I do here... as for the blue arrow ..."this way to water?" ![]() |

Yup, never fails for me. I always preview, then submit only to find a major grammar screwup. Even with the Vbb, I still do plenty of editing, thank goodness for that 2 minutes grace period.
And I've dumped a post after spending a half hour writing it. I'd go like this, *type* *type* *type* "...hmmm....why am I even doing this?" *clicks back button* and for the blue arrow, I'd imagine that i's used to point one's way to the immense holy and sacred insights trinkled by our ever great and forever eternal holy posters(haw haw haw) |

Yup. I heavily edit my posts and then after I submit I realize that I've cut and pasted a sentence twice.
I can't count the number of times I've written a post and then changed my mind, realizing I had nothing to say. I fact, I'm not even sure if I'll click submit on this one. |

The blue arrow clearly indicates that this is, and will be the best post in this thread.
Thank you for your time. |

DBP, there isn't room for both of us in my head, so I'll have to ask you to vacate. Thank you.
![]() Even with Preview Reply, I find myself going back to change things. Sigh. |

I think I have a posting handicap of about 5.
That is, if I didn't have to edit, or just give up on all the posts I start, my post count would be 5 times what it is. |

I am a full time lurker. I like reading other people's things. My personality is such, thus when I do post it takes me forever to come up with what to say.
Odd though, I've been doing some posting the past week or so. I really need to get back to lurkin it. |
