Attention!
Im sure everyone has heard of the RIAA issuing subpoenas to almost a 1000 people, and promptly attempting to claim damages from them for distributing "copyrighted" material on p2p networks such as KaZaa. some of the people downloaded as little as 5 songs. The RIAA are asking for $750 per song. now we can not allow this illegal cartel that is the music industry to dictate the lives of ordinary good people. They can not possibly win if enough people stand up to them. so, the RIAA catch you by hiring firms to basically spy on what you download, one such firm is http://www.bsa.org ,the business "software" alliance. <deano - do not post illegal material> dont let them win, here is an important adress.do what is right. John R. Wolfe Manager of Investigations Business Software Alliance 1150 18th St NW Suite 700 Washington, DC 20036 URL: http://www.bsa.org E-mail: [email protected] secondly for the RIAA itself, have no mercy on the cartel, protect our freedom! RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) 1330 Connecticut Ave. NW, Suite 300 Washington, DC 20036 Tel: (202) 775-0101 Fax: (202) 775-7253 [email protected] for a bit of fun.follow these instructions 1. Call Telephone number 2. Press 1 to type to leave a message for last names with riaa 3. Fun names to type are 76736= ROSEN (as in Hillary Rosen) 743-7626=SHERMAN (as in Cary Sherman) 4. Leave a message with your feelings on the recent actions, or just yell an obscenity forward this "dossier" to as many people as you can, every person makes a diference. peace out. |
