"Choose Death" is available apparently (though I didn't check it out). The "pro Life" plates aren't being allowed though. I think this is a standard fare first amendment issue.

A group (it takes a group, signed petition kinda thing, cash) can make a plate, but another of opposing view cannot based soley on the politics/beliefs of the government body in charge of this. You are PUSHING first amendment rights on that. Either dump them both, or give in.

On the other hand, if the tag is deemed offensive, or inflamitory I think that might be an easy way out for them. Pro Choice does tend to rile people up.... and then of course, there are those wonderully written obscenity laws that help.

In any case, this isn't a violation of the establishment clause by a long shot.

Certainly not, I agree.

"Equal protection", maybe, but there's no way the Establishment Clause is being violated by this.
