I am, of course, assuming the Holocaust you are referring to is the Nazi Germany killings of millions (10s of millions) of "undesirables" either through direct killing or overworking with too little food. Including the Jews (in any amount of ancestory), Gypsies, homosexuals, and others that were found to not "fit" with Nazi Germany.

A note to those of you my age (30s) or younger - spend time talking with the survivors of concentration camps (those willing to talk about it) and those who liberated the camps (again, those willing to talk about it). They are reaching the ends of their lives - soon we will have no 1st person accounts left living. Spending the time talking with them before they die is time well spent.

I could go off on a political diatribe here, but this is not the place or time.

I'm reasonably sure that yguy was mocking the Holocaust-deniers' attempts at obsfucating the picture by attacking the numbers usually given, then claiming there was no such thing as the Holocaust.

The most reliable numbers are 6.5 million in the death camps, plus many many hundreds of thousands in other actions out in the field or in towns and cities.
